马来西亚第一届首席品牌官CBO毕业典礼暨马来西亚品牌论坛于2023年4月4日,成功在华总大厦圆满举行。本次活动由国际品质促进会IAQ主办,马来西亚品牌协会BAM为战略伙伴。除了见证全亚洲第一批拥有 Professional Diploma in Branding Strategy and Management (DBSM) 文凭及IAQ Certified CBO 的首席品牌官诞生;马来西亚品牌论坛,也成为全亚洲首个集合品牌商业组织与品牌学术组织,共同打造的马来西亚品牌论坛。
The inaugural Chief Brand Officer (CBO) Graduation Ceremony and Malaysia Branding Forum were successfully held on April 4, 2023 at The Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Huazong). The event was organized by the International Association for the Advancement of Quality (IAQ) and the Branding Association of Malaysia (BAM), who served as a strategic partner. The ceremony witnessed the birth of the first batch of Chief Brand Officers in Asia to earn a Professional Diploma in Branding Strategy and Management (DBSM) and become IAQ Certified CBOs. Additionally, the Malaysia Branding Forum made history as the first brand forum in Asia to be jointly created by both brand business organizations and academic organizations.

The Professional Diploma in Branding Strategy and Management (DBSM) offered by the Chief Brand Officer (CBO) is organized by the International Association for the Advancement of Quality (IAQ) and developed by Dr. Vincent Yong. The program is designed to teach business owners how to elevate their operations from a business level to a brand level, thereby becoming a recognized brand among target consumers and continuously accumulating brand assets.
The course is structured into 8 major modules, each lasting for 2 days and spread across 8 days of learning over a period of 4 months (weekends only). Upon completion, participants are awarded a Professional Diploma in Branding Strategy and Management, and are also recognized as certified CBO by the IAQ.
The 8 modules of the course cover important topics such as Brand Culture, Brand Strategy, Brand Positioning, Desire Conflict, Brand Differentiation, Content System, Brand Marketing, and Personal Brand.
To qualify for graduation, all students must undergo a final exam that is based on a 60% evaluation of their daily learning and performance, and 40% based on written exams. Upon graduation, participants are eligible to participate in a graduation ceremony and can continue to engage with the CBO alumni circle to share knowledge and create greater value.

CBO创始人杨忠璇博士Dr. Vincent Yong 在毕业典礼上发表致词,他表达了对毕业生们的祝贺与鼓励,并强调了CBO品牌在现代世界商业成功中扮演着至关重要的角色,鼓励在场来宾与毕业生们,务必要继续深入研究和探讨品牌学。同时他也表示最近爆红的CHATGBT,让许多人不愿意报名CBO,忽略了教育的重要性。但对他而言,这依然无法取代CBO品牌课程,因为AI 没有文化原力,不明白感性元素。而只要读过CBO课程,使用左右脑思维来与AI沟通,再善用工具互相融合,才能将品牌思维发挥得淋漓尽致。
During the graduation ceremony, Dr. Vincent Yong, the founder of CBO, congratulated and encouraged the graduates while emphasizing the critical role that CBO branding plays in achieving success in modern business. He urged attendees to continue exploring and studying branding, despite the recent popularity of CHATGBT, which has caused some to overlook the importance of education and avoid enrolling in CBO. Dr. Vincent Yong emphasized that AI cannot replace the cultural force and emotional understanding necessary for successful branding. Only through taking the CBO course, utilizing both left and right brain thinking to communicate with AI, and effectively integrating tools, can one fully develop their branding thinking.
